International Film Seminars.

International Film Seminars, Inc., sponsor of the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar, has announced the winners of its 2001 Leo Awards. The "Filmmaker or Producer" Award has been at handed to Frederick Wiseman, a non-fiction filmmaker and a proponent of direct cinema. The "Film and Video Librarian and/or Programmer" Award was given to Karen Cooper the president of Film Forum in of the present day York City.
