The just discovered Photography Archives and Research Center established in Rio de Janeiro, houses a collection of nineteenth- and twentieth-century photography. Inaugurated by way of Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS), a non-profit Brazilian cultural institution, the three-story, 600-square-meter center is to one's home to several important photography collections--the Ferrez collection among its most numerous prominent. This collection includes more than 4000 original glass plate negatives and several hundr vintage prints by means of Marc Ferrez.
